Okay so Australia is through to round 2 in the world cup and who do they (we) face? Italy.
A guy at work's mother (who migrated to Australia decades ago from Italy) says that their current form will remain poor until the odds are right for the gamblers. So maybe Australia does have a chance. This game.
I guess not many of us think we'll win, but we are all staying up and watching the game anyway. It's very exciting for a nation of World Cup virgins.
If you are in Sydney you are probably in Leichhardt and if in Melbourne Lygon street has closed for traffic and big TVs are out on the street.
Boss - I'll be late for work tomorrow.
