Which bridge is that? Is it the one that crosses the train tracks just near the stadium (such as it is)? Gotta say, the welcome ain't so inviting.

I still prefer the big green road sign when you're on your way up Kariong hill that shows a big looping down arrow with 'Gosford' underneath it - I think it's meant to indicate you should make u-turn to go back to Gosford, but the message I take from it is that it's all downhill in Gosford which pretty much sums the whole place up.

Similarly, if you look out the window on the train at Woy Woy station, the first thing you notice is a big sign on the side of the shopping centre building that reads 'NO FRILLS'. Yep, that's Woy Woy.

Woy Woy, as Spike famously said, is so good they named it twice.

oh yeah, remember that campaign with sticers and all.

GO FOR
GOSFORD
CITY

and then you could

"Catch a wave to Marketown"

but you always knew the ONLY place to get your KISS transfers on your t-shirt was the Iron-On transfer shop under the escalators.

then you could watch some spunky chicks ballet dancin' on the stage in front of TOYWORLD !

I yoosta work in the icecream parlour just near there fer ages. Did you know natalie Imuglia (or whatever her last name is) was one of the 'ballet girls' (it was Johnny Young Talent School). her sister worked with me in the ice cream place.
